***The Heritage Dynamite, a Girls U11 Division I team, had a very successful season in the Golden State Soccer League (GSSL) Gold Bracket. Coaches for Dynamite include Tracy Hamm and Randy Madison. Dynamite is made up of some returning Heritage players and several new girls to the club and had a season record of 9 wins and 1 loss. . This resulted in an overall second place finish for Dynamite in league play. Their only loss was a game against the first place team from Castro Valley. It was truly a defensive battle that could have gone either way and in the end the score was 1-0. Dynamite dominated the rest of league play, scoring 33 goals and holding their opponents to 3 goals all season long. The girls participated in several tournaments throughout the year, which helped prepare for the season and improve performance. Dynamite is looking forward to a great experience in the upcoming State Cup!
Heritage Dynamite U11G Champions of Mustang Winter Turf
The weekend of January 10th/11th, Dynamite took first place in the Mustang Winter Turf U11G bracket. The girls played four games, score 9 goals and had shutouts in all four games. They began the tournament with a very tough game against rival DFC, winning 1-0. It was a hard played game for both teams. The second game, the girls scored 4 goals against Mustang Courage. Sunday morning brought another tough game against Novato's United team. Dynamite fought hard, scored 1 goal and maintained the lead, despite multiple late game corner kicks by Novato. As the sun went down, the girls played their final game against Sacramento Extreme, winning 3-0. The girls are playing very well with great contributions from every position on the field. Congrats girls, Tracy and Randy and good luck at State Cup!! |
